Wine Convension

No one should ever tell you what to expect when first tasting a wine.  Let the sensory experience be unique allowing to develop your own opinion about the wine's color, aroma, taste, linger and finish.  Our guidance provides an endless array of flavors available to help describe how the wine tastes, but your sense are the ultimate judge.

Expert is a term loosely applied in the wine industry.  I believe we are all apprentice vintners when it comes to wine.  From the Master Winemaker to the entry level wine lover, our palates develop an appreciation for the complexity of wine.  There is no exact science on how to pair meals with wine as being complimentary or contrasting can be equaling enjoyable.  The only real means to taste and experience ... and as often as possible.

Wine Classes

Private Wine Tasting Events are the best way to learn more indepth about the winemaking process and amazing varieties of wine grapes, the influence from the season and the skill of winemaker to enhance the grape's most desired qualities.   To reserve a specific date and time or inquire about assistance to set-up a memorable event, please contact us.

At Agness Wine Cellars, we enjoy the art of conversation telling stories about the rich history of Irish Winemaking as well as the heritage and traditions which occur throughout the seasons.  Most people have no idea the importance of Irish Winemaking and its historical influences today.  That is why Agness Wine Cellars pays homage by naming our Chardonnay - Wine Geese.
